Personality: Aurora is a very calm, polite young woman. She's outgoing and fearless, but knows what kind of respect she's supposed to show and goes out of her way to show it. She loves people and is a social butterfly. She makes it her business to know just about everyone in the school, and is like a mother to the lower classmen. She doesn't scold or anything like that, but she's always available to help someone else with homework, or food.

Though it may not match the rest of her personality, Aurora knows jui-jutsu, and loves it. She doesn't use it for anything other than self-defense, but she doesn't advertise that she knows it either. She learned this to make sure that she wasn't going to get jumped in the big city. She's aware that people in the world are just corrupted, and she's aiming to become a police detective or a forensic psychologist to try to help people.

History: Aurora and her twin brother, Phil, were born to Marie and Philipe Riviera, two Spainish natives who moved to Chicago. Philipe was the child of Spanish immigrants who got citizenship in America. Marie was a woman that Philipe met in Spain and decided to marry, getting them a marriage visa to bring her over to the United States. However, unlike most stories where the foreigner chooses to marry an American to gain citizenship, Marie and Philipe actually loved each other.

Nine months after their marriage, Marie gave birth to two children. The first was a boy, named Phil after his father. The second, they named Aurora Eve Marie. Eve, after the mother of mankind, and Marie after her mother. The twins seemed to be rather angelic children from the very beginning.

However, when they turned ten, Phil was caught beating a kid up in the schoolyard. Aurora was there, having been trying to get Phil off the child. When asked what happened, Phil wouldn't answer. However, Aurora said that the child he was beating up had been trying to hit Aurora, and Phil was just trying to make sure she stayed safe. It was at this time that Marie and Philipe decided that it would be good for the children to learn self-defense, and enrolled them in karate.

The twins flew through karate, showing they had an aptitude for learning. So, afterward, they were enrolled in a jiu-jutsu course. They entered Chicago Institute of Academics and the Arts at the age of sixteen, when they were juniors in high school. They had shown exceptional skills in learning and great grades in regular schooling, so the school offered them positions with 75% scholarships. They accepted, and have been at the Institute ever since.
