Claire has a vivacious, effusive and highly expressive personality, quick to show affection for her loved ones, just as quick to anger and snap. Claire is a woman of many extremes, sides, and inconsistencies, but one thing is certain. Claire on the whole is an entirely unpredictable, but unceasingly loyal woman that has the romantic woes any normal woman does. Her mood swings, whilst nowhere near as violent as some women, are still mercurial; she experiences all emotions intensely and passionately. She is undyingly loyal to her loved ones and often ends up in fights because of this.
Claire has been called a bitch by dozens of people who didn't appreciate her bluntness, open-mindedness and down-to-earth view of the world. She doesn't believe in racism, sexism, or homophobia, especially as the village where she was born was a mixture of all of it.
Highly sarcastic and a prankster, Claire loves to joke around - whether by herself or surrounded by people - and doesn't see the difference in cracking a joke in a pub or at a funeral or a site of worship.
A highly intelligent and well-rounded woman, Claire uses her intellect to snap off rounds of snark to her companions. Having a strong sense of what is right and wrong and the willingness to act out on her opinions has caused Claire to make many friends and gain enemies who didn't 'appreciate' her steadfastness. If she says she's going to kick your ass, you'd better watch your back - if she says she'll help you, you'll have her watching your back for you until you make her mad. Claire isn't afraid to speak her mind, but she is calm about it and uses her brain; would it help her in this situation, or should she say it later?
Claire seems to specialize in manipulating people and causing chaos and mayhem. Claire is generally a nice person to be around, but when she gets pissed, everyone in the same city as her knows. Despite this, Claire is extremely eccentric and will often make her own outfits out of what would seemingly be nothing.
Despite all this, Claire does have a softer side... of a sort. She finds hanging out as the best way to get to know someone, gifts sweet, and flirting necessary to become closer to someone. Though she'd never admit it, even under threat of torture and death, Claire believes in true love and even a (mostly) happily ever after. Even with her romantic notions, Claire always has a soft spot for handsome men and beautiful women, though she never underestimates what they are capable of.

History:
Claire Marie Shilo Kritikos was born to a happy young couple in the great city of Chicago, Illinois; her mother was the classic housewife - by choice, not necessity - and her father was a wealthy man who made his living as a real estate mogul in New Orleans, where he met his wife. Born a few minutes after her brother Jazz, Claire was always treated as the customary younger sister and was defended from any bullies... though she often protected Jazz from bullies at the same time. Life only got better for Claire when, on her first day of first grade, she met who would be her best friend, Aurora Riviera. Every year in school, they were in the same classes, which suited them just fine, though it often got them in trouble for talking and passing notes in class.
It was only in the first year of junior high that they had different classes, though they never drew apart. The only issues that they had was when Claire started dating a boy named Carter. They were the perfect couple, as far as everyone knew, but Aurora had heard rumors about him and tried warning Claire about him. Claire didn't believe her and stayed with Carter, but it was about two years into the relationship when he slipped up and let it be known he had a second girlfriend, Michelle, a known slut who slept with men in college and even the teachers. Claire, heartbroken, broke up with him and cried onto Aurora's shoulder, accepting the 'I told you so's. Throughout the rest of junior high, she was told they couldn't believe he'd do something like that and blah blah blah. She slowly grew more angry at all the so-called sympathizers and got angrier and more bitter at the 'well-wishers'. Frankly, she became more of a bitch.
It wasn't until she was accepted into the Chicago Institute of Academics and the Arts that Claire was able to put Carter and their past behind her and move on with Aurora, who was her closest confidant, along with Jazz. With her schedule filled with extracurricular activities and classwork, Claire wasn't able to find a job until she was 18, but she'd found one hell of a career - wrestling. Despite having no prior training, Claire proved to be a natural at kicking people's asses and selling that she was injured. As she entered the university branch of CIAA, Claire was discovered by a music producer and ever since, has been helping her record an album to be released on iTunes.
